I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Literatures in English at Cornell University. Until 2023, I taught in the Department of English at the University of Miami. My research and teaching focus on early modern English literature, the history of the book, literature and science, and the linked histories of plants, poetics, and everyday expertise.
